Last Monday, a group of eight 7th and 8th graders went off-campus to compete in a math contest called Mathcounts. These students were Nick V, Lulu R, Thomas C, Karan T, Ashley A, Tucker F, Maddie C, and the 6th grade Nick V. The team got 2nd place overall, and Karan T scored the top individual score out of 165 students from all over the state.
"It went extremely well. It went well because we didn't have any time to practice, while other schools practiced one or two days a week after school," said Mr. L, the math team coach.
